Writer's Block: Following the leader

Let's say you're running for president, and you win by a mudslide. What would you change about your country and why? Would you make new laws? Paint the White House blue? Tell all!

Let me explain the difference between mudslide and landslide.

Saying that someone has won in a mudslide is saying the election process was flawed in some way. That ballot boxes had been stuffed, or the Supreme Court had stepped in and appointed a president instead of following the will of the people and electing the person who won the voting.

In a land slide the election is not considered flawed. The candidate is considered to have legitimately earned the office. The will of the people has been followed.

So if I was the office of President in a mudslide. Well I would hope that I would do the adult and respectable thing and not take office.

To be fair to the question, I know the only way I could personally be elected President would be through a deeply, deeply flawed election. XD
LOL, same here.
I kinda saw it as winning after a vicious (technically legal) campaign of mudslinging, usually by parties on all sides.
By that definition that's the way most U.S. elections are won anymore, not that I'd want to win office that way.
